Harrow Academy UK is in central Harrow, a leafy suburb in North West London. At Harrow Academy UK we aim to broaden our students' knowledge of the English language in a friendly and stimulating environment. Our students are highly motivated and they benefit from individual attention in small classes. The curriculum focuses on the four main language skills: reading, writing, speaking and listening. Our teachers, with over thirty years' experience, are trained to teach English to speakers of other languages and will strive to enable you to communicate effectively in the UK.

Harrow is an ideal place to spend your time with Heathrow Airport within easy reach and regular bus, train and underground services. We can arrange accommodation to suit your requirements. You can choose to stay in a local hotel, in Bed and Breakfast accommodation or with an approved host family.

You will be warmly welcomed at Harrow Academy UK where we pride ourselves on our very personal approach. Our helpful staff are available to advise you on accommodation, travel, banking, visa queries, medical services and etiquette.

Christmas Holiday

Hi everyone, the school will close for the festive season soon and we can all enjoy a well-earned rest with our families and friends. It’s been a good year for Harrow Academy UK and I can speak on behalf of all the teachers and say we’ve enjoyed having you here. Our evening classes finish on 13 December and restart on 15 January 2007. Daytime classes continue until 22 December and start again on 8 January 2007 (not much of a rest there!). All students must tell their teacher if they are going to return late to classes.

To finish the year we will have a students’ party on 15 December at 11.30am. All students are welcome – past and present – all we ask is that you bring a little traditional food or drink typical of your country.

So here we go into the last couple of weeks. To everyone out there who knows me – Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
