Harrow Academy UK is in central Harrow, a leafy suburb in North West London. At Harrow Academy UK we aim to broaden our students' knowledge of the English language in a friendly and stimulating environment. Our students are highly motivated and they benefit from individual attention in small classes. The curriculum focuses on the four main language skills: reading, writing, speaking and listening. Our teachers, with over thirty years' experience, are trained to teach English to speakers of other languages and will strive to enable you to communicate effectively in the UK.

Harrow is an ideal place to spend your time with Heathrow Airport within easy reach and regular bus, train and underground services. We can arrange accommodation to suit your requirements. You can choose to stay in a local hotel, in Bed and Breakfast accommodation or with an approved host family.

You will be warmly welcomed at Harrow Academy UK where we pride ourselves on our very personal approach. Our helpful staff are available to advise you on accommodation, travel, banking, visa queries, medical services and etiquette.

For more information do not hesitate to contact us.

Denise Silver: Denise is our Director of Studies and has been teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) for over 25 years. She has worked with a number of local language schools before becoming a director of Harrow Academy UK.

Peter Coward: Peter started teaching English in 1999 after a long career in telecommunications. He has worked in Paris with ILC (France) and ESIEE, with Harrow College and with Harrow International Academy.

Summer School

Our summer schools are now running and it’s a busy (but enjoyable!) time for everyone. Some classes are full at the moment, but places often become available as not all of the students stay all summer. There are still two weeks left in the under-16’s classes if you want to squeeze in some summer education for the young ones. It might be more enjoyable than the rotten weather we’ve had so far this year! I’ll update you again soon.
